You will learn how to:

• Navigate and apply the MICA-AI portal, report process, and application for MI fidelity with real-world examples for individuals and/or organizations
• Practice uploading, assessing, and interpreting feedback from the MICA-AI on individual and group performance levels (customized to group preferences)
• Adjust listening styles through the qualitative lens of the MICA with at least one of the authors of the MICA being the trainer
• Distinguish between MICA-AI coding vs. MICA coaching, and how they each have value, with MICA coaching having a higher threshold of training
• Practice using the MICA-AI in ways that further build confidence and clarity with evaluative, affirmative, and coaching feedback
• OPTIONAL – Implement MICA-AI feedback from your own MI practice being uploaded and utilized during the course

Course Description:

This live streaming online training series is a hands-on course that will help you to understand and implement the MICA-AI (Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment-Adaptive Intelligence) to provide exceptional coaching and skill development. Learners will discover how to pair AI Coding with deliberate human coaching to support efficiency and practitioner development. Prerequisites for this course: Attendees should have a working knowledge of Motivational Interviewing. Preferences for this course: Participants have scored competent per the MITI or MICA.
