IFIOC‘s approach to Motivational Interviewing training has garnered national and international attention for innovation and improved outcomes for individuals and systems. In 2015, the IFIOC team developed a fidelity-based tool with qualitative and quantitative metrics for coding conversations. The Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment (MICA) is used for both quality assurance in terms of establishing baselines for person-centered conversations as well as for a quality improvement tool for achieving proficiency in MI to promote improved outcomes and sustained cultural change. While the MICA has been used on many research projects nationally and internationally, IFIOC is the licensed owner and primary author of the tool.
We at IFIOC have two MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) members who have provided thousands of trainings, and thousands of coding and coaching’s over our tenure.
We can’t wait to talk further about how we can help you!
