Course Description:

The Motivational Interviewing Supervisor Support Series in a monthly learning collaborative and peer support group that provides an opportunity to explore leadership/management/supervision through the MI lens.  We meet for two (2) hours monthly over the course of three months to discuss difficult real world work issues, sort through common personnel issues, discern between compliance and behavior change approaches and explore cultural evolution and change within the workplace.  It is a unique opportunity to engage in the cross-pollination of ideas from other leaders/supervisors while evolving the application of MI to improve supports for teams, organizations and the clients’ communities they serve.

IFIOC #1485 is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
