Motivational Interviewing-Supervision Support Series 9:00am-11:00am

This four month series on Motivational Interviewing in Supervision offers monthly small group collaboration time to staff difficult cases while applying MI principles in to real-time scenarios. Between the monthly small group trainings, participants will be sent brief supervisory scenarios using the Minapsys format and the Delphi learning method where they can apply MI concepts and learn from other responses. This is self-paced and keeps MI fresh in your mind and takes very little time commitment. Finally, each participant will have the opportunity to record and receive feedback using the Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment (MICA) fidelity tool. This will provide the opportunity for each participant to get individual coaching and feedback on their application of MI in their own professional setting.

 4 Month Series Includes:  2 hour monthly small group supervision  Bi-weekly online brief practice scenarios  1 supervisory session coded with MICA, plus individual coaching session  9 CEU’s  This training is designed for social workers and behavioral health professionals. IFIOC #1485 is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the approved continuing education (ACE) program. IFIOC maintains responsibility for the program.  Social workers participating in this training will receive 9 continuing education clock hours. Professionals should contact their individual regulatory board to review current continuing education requirements for license renewal.

Social workers participating in this training will receive 9 continuing education clock hours. Professionals should contact their individual regulatory board to review current continuing education requirements for license renewal.
